Lots of Folks Trying Out Petanque
The typical Saturday session at the Detroit Petanque Club begins at around 11:00am with a few diehards who want to packin an 8 hour petanque day. We usually have a solid triplette for a while, then the others come/go making for a mixture of different matches and members throughout the day. Some stay for a couple of games - then leave to do an errand - and return in the afternoon. The nice thing about petanque is that it allows for players to come/go and all we need is to re-distribute the boules to continue the game.
