Strange afternoon... our city's Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, put behind bars - guess he won't be attending the tournament later in the month!
John (from 2 years earlier) joined us today, and he was playing very well indeed... pointing up those boules with aplombee!
Wayne/Jeff/John took 13 against Mark/Abu/Rob's 7
and for the second game, Wayne/John beat the pants off Rob/Abu/Jeff with a 13/4 victory.... whew!
painful!
painful!Tomorrow is the last official day that we play down by the river... but if the club members want, we can have one day a week down there... or even a whole tournament. Anyhow... see you!
