The Detroit Festival of Speed and Style brings a broad cross section of some of the finest collector cars and motorcycles to Campus Martius Park and Cadillac Square. The three day event, included a driving tour with participants lapping the new Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix race track. Latin night – featured a display of custom low-rider's; and on Sunday a 100+ car show featuring an eclectic mix of classic and vintage cars, muscle cars, hotrods, super cars and, vintage and custom motorcycles.Located on the regular petanque pistes of the Detroit Petanque Club - if you remember, last year the big Hard Rock Cafe Petanque Tournament was held on the same day as the Festival of Speed and Style! Fortunately, the cars didn't stay on the tournament pistes all day. I'd hate to see what a boule would do to an F-430 Ferrari...
