This photo was taken hours before his final victory on the Petanque field. For the sake of future tournaments, perhaps we should all take a moment to study how he prepares for serious petanque play. Notice those fine sturdy chairs with their canopies... (avoiding sun damage?) and the many heavy boxes he's brought to the terrain (lifting exercises?)
