Chicago Petanque World Cup Sunday

I don't know what was more exciting last Sunday, World Cup Soccer or Chicagoland Petanque. If you were a member of the CPC , you experienced both events. We delayed our petanque playing three hours so that most of us could cheer on France. As soon as that game in Germany ended, everyone headed to our terrain in Forest Park. It was fun and exciting without any head butting.

We were fortunate to have Marc V.'s parents, who are visiting from Belgium, play a few games with us. Marc's son also played. Three generations of expert shooting and pointing.

Info for the Sept. Chicago Midwest Petanque Alliance Tournament coming soon.

I agree with Joe, any chance that you'll have the Chicago Midwest Petanque Alliance Tournament on a Saturday, for us out-of-towners???
