How to beat the chill

Midwest Petanque Championships

With Saturday a cold and windy day, we were all trying to keep our boules warm. Nothing worse than a cold boule. Okay, maybe there is but cold boules are definitely not fun.

For the most part, we were keeping the boules in the pockets of our coats. Some even played with a hand in the pocket to keep the extra boule from falling out.

That's why I use the INTEGRALE Bronze boules. They keep the heat much longer than iron and steel.

I think it is beyond the talking stage... And besides, aren't you all glad for some new entertainment and gossip?

Jeff didn't realize the tactics I'd sink to to steal petanque players! This is gorilla warfare! SUCCESS!

I have yet to "official" join either club so let the bidding begin!

And you know, I used this particular photo because it shows him shooting with his hand in his pocket, not because it was Gregory. You are all impossible!

Bidding?

You can have her! We only like TRUE Detroit people, not cushy Suburban wannabees!

I wonder what her fellow Detroit Metroblos writers will think about the headline:

Head writer for Detroit Metroblogs Chooses Prissy Northern Suburbs Club over Detroit Club...

Well can I just maintain my duel membership? Huh? Can I?

I don't know... You seem to be awfully busy -- perhaps only 1 day of petanque is all you can really fit into your schedule...

I'll have to discuss this complex issue with the committee and get back to you...
