Both Alpha (left) and Allan are new to petanque. They watched the club play at Campus Martius and decided to come down and give it a try. I'm impressed with their playing. Alpha tried his shots and did amazingly well, hitting the opposing boules almost every time. He's going to wind up being a "shooter" I know it. Allan is a natural pointer. He laid in the close-boule consistently. He expressed how nice the club is along the Detroit river, and I must agree, it's quite a scenic and one-of-a-kind view. He plans on visiting the work-week club on Fridays when he's not in classes.
