Will, Rameesh, and Probert joined us today down at the Renaissance Center Park.
We did some preliminary pointing and shooting lessons, but after a few rounds they all were playing at a very good level.
What surprised Rameesh, Probert and Jeff the most was how easily Will (who had never played petanque before today) used plombee' pointing shots. These are advanced throws, but his technique was virtually flawless.
Before long we all were trying out plombee' throws using Will's style. Probert really does them well now too and I think the Detroit Petanque Club is going to do great against the more experienced Michigan Petanque Club on October 8th.
