Today we received a visit from the Mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick. The Mayor was happy to learn about Petanque and its techniques from Joe Zajac (President of the Michigan Petanque Club) We see here a few points that the Mayor made - closer than Joe I may add...We certainly know how much playing petanque in the heart of Detroit at Campus Martius means to all of our members, and future members, most of which live and work, and play in Detroit. It makes us happy to see their faces every Saturday. I'm sure the Mayor was delighted to see us gathered together for our regular event.
