Detroit Club on Television - Lights Camera Action!

The Detroit Petanque Club was videoed for a community awareness film - the second interview and filming is set for tomorrow (Wednesday).

Today's game had everyone on the edge of their seats, with Abu/Mike/Jeff trailing 6 to 12 Tim/Aaron/Pat/Mark but then Mike threw the cochonnet to the right, at about 10 meters - a good position for a team with two left-handers.

[when tossing out the cochonnet, keep the handedness of your own players in mind - a larger "range" of angle for a cochonnet near the side-edge makes for difficult pointing for the opposition]

At that distance we were able to squeeze in five boules, but not before Pat laid in a VERY close boule, but it was deemed - out-of-bounds.

And so, in conclusion, a 13/12 game- a fun comeback.
