VIDEO-1We've returned to Cadillac Square after a try-out for a week down at the Riverwalk. The terrain is definitely different - but it is useful to have alternate surfaces for practice upon.
Cheryl, James, Rob, Alpha, Mike and I enjoyed three hours of petanque on a gusty but cool day - but then we had to cut it short at around 4:30 pm because of the deluge of rain that hit Detroit.
(Not too big a sacrifice - I ran over to Happy-Cremes for a big scoop of moosetracks ice-cream in a waffle cone)
