Dainty Players Run for Cover when Rain Hits the Piste

It was a light misty rain (that passed over after ten minutes) but you would have thought a monsoon hit Campus Martius Park after Pat; Tim; Maury; and Hitesh (Note; 75% of the people all from the same firm) ran for cover leaving the tougher players, namely, Jeff/Tom vs. Raphael/Matt to take up the reins and continue the game.
Raphael and Matt took the day, with a 13/11 win.
Take advantage of these slightly damp days to test out your petanque skills under "adverse" conditions. You never know when you'll need to perform well under a deluge (like at the World Qualifier in New York last week - or the Detroit Doubles Tournament last year!)
